Purpose of the Service

ReceiptWorks provides an online tool for creating digital receipts for personal or business record‑keeping, replacing lost receipts, or producing mockups for design and presentation purposes. The service is not intended to misrepresent real financial transactions.

Prohibited Uses

You must not use ReceiptWorks for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent activities, including:

  • Creating receipts to seek fraudulent refunds or chargebacks
  • Submitting false receipts for tax evasion or reimbursement
  • Misstating or fabricating financial transactions
  • Any other illegal, misleading, or abusive conduct

Misuse may result in suspension or termination of access, legal action, and reporting to relevant authorities.

User‑Generated Content & Intellectual Property

Users create and customize all receipt content (including any logos, brand names, or other elements). ReceiptWorks does not design, endorse, or own user‑generated receipts.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any logos, trademarks, or brand materials you upload
  • ReceiptWorks does not claim ownership of user‑generated content
  • We are not liable for any third‑party IP infringements arising from user content

Storage & Use of Generated Receipts

We may store generated receipts to provide examples and inspiration to other users. Stored receipts are not linked to personal data or identifiable user information.

  • Receipts you create may be stored on our servers and made available as examples
  • We do not associate stored receipts with personal data
  • If you prefer not to have your receipts stored or displayed, refrain from using the service or contact us to request removal
  • We do not sell or distribute stored receipts beyond their intended example purpose

User Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for how you use generated receipts
  • You agree not to use the service for illegal or fraudulent activities
  • ReceiptWorks is not responsible for misuse by users

Payments & Refunds

Some features are free; others require a paid plan or one‑time purchase. Unless required by law, all sales are final and non‑refundable. If you encounter technical issues with a paid feature, please contact support.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ReceiptWorks is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • Generated receipts will be accepted by any business, institution, or financial entity
  • The service will be error‑free, secure, or uninterrupted

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReceiptWorks disclaims liability for any damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptWorks and its owners, affiliates, employees, and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from:

  • Your use or misuse of the service
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or losses related to generated receipts
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
